Privacy policy

qantara.dev collects as little as it can. This page lists what is collected, why, and how to have it deleted.

Who is responsible

Carlos Salguero, operating as QANTARA, Querétaro, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions and requests go to carlossalguero@qantara.dev.

Contact form

When you send a brief, I receive your name, email, the optional project type, budget and timeline, your message and your IP address. The brief is delivered to my inbox by email through Resend, and Resend sends you a confirmation.

I use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project. Your IP address is used to limit repeated submissions and to filter spam.

Booking a call

The “Book a call” buttons open a third-party scheduling page. The details you enter there (name, email, notes) are processed by that provider under its own privacy policy and shared with me so I can hold the call.

Email

If you email me, I keep the conversation for as long as it's needed to answer you and, for clients, for the length of the engagement plus the time Mexican tax and accounting rules require. I don't add you to any mailing list.

Analytics

The site uses Plausible Analytics, which counts visits and a few events (such as clicks on “Book a call” or a sent brief) without cookies and without collecting personal data. Reports are aggregated: I can see which pages and campaigns bring visitors, not who you are.

Your approximate country, read from the hosting provider's network headers, decides whether prices show in MXN or USD. It isn't stored.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies. Your browser stores your light or dark theme choice locally so the site remembers it; it never leaves your device.

If you arrive from a campaign link (one with utm_ tags, for example in an email from me), the tab keeps those tags for the visit in session storage, so a brief you send or a call you book shows which campaign it came from. They are deleted when you close the tab.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use (your ARCO rights under Mexican law, and similar rights under the GDPR and US state laws). Email carlossalguero@qantara.dev and I'll answer within 20 business days.

I don't sell personal data or share it beyond the providers named here.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
