How engagements work
Plain-language terms for working with QANTARA. The signed proposal for your project takes precedence over this page.

Scope and price
Every engagement starts with a written proposal: scope, deliverables, timeline and a fixed price. Prices on this site are starting points; the proposal is what counts.
Payment
The payment schedule and method are set in the proposal. Clients in Mexico are invoiced in MXN with a CFDI; other clients are invoiced in USD.
Changes to scope
If the scope changes, we agree on the change in writing before the work happens, including any change to price or timeline.
Ownership
Once paid in full, you own the code, eval sets, documents and infrastructure built for you. I keep general know-how and reusable tools that aren’t specific to your business.
Confidentiality
Both sides keep each other’s non-public information confidential. I don’t name you as a client or show your work without your written permission.
Third-party costs
Model APIs, cloud hosting and Meta’s WhatsApp fees are paid by you, either directly or billed at cost.
Liability
My total liability under an engagement is limited to the fees paid for it. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Governing law
These terms and any proposal are governed by the laws of Mexico, with the courts of Querétaro, unless the proposal says otherwise.
